"Store is always clean and employees are very friendly. I really wanted to like Aldi, however, every time I’ve shopped here, I ended up with items past expiration, or not past expiration but still stale, moldy or spoiled. In the last year I have purchased bananas and avocados that oddly never got ripe and grapes and tangerines that shriveled up the next day. I’ve purchased blue cheese stuffed olives that weren’t sealed and dog jerky treats that were nowhere near the expiration but were full of mold. I’ve also purchased rancid salmon that was not expired, Kirkwood chicken that was smelly and slimy and not expired, 2 bags of stale cauliflower chips that were a month away from expiration but very stale, Greek yogurt that expired the month before, moldy gluten free bread and more! All of this from one store in a year. I was really excited about getting an Aldi in our town so I keep checking back to see if they’ve stepped it up. Sadly, when I went earlier today I noticed they're still selling plain Greek yogurt that expired six days ago, and the tangerines were visibly moldy —so I left without buying anything. Again."

"I really don't get it. They don't have a ton to choose from, everything is weird. Their staff are all unfriendly. They throw your stuff in a cart and you stand in the corner awkwardly bagging it into your reusable bags. Meanwhile the cashier sits on a stool. Most people in here are socially awkward. The customers just walk through you like you're not even there. I feel like I'm in Erie Indiana. Most people get upset about the quarter for a cart. That doesn't even bother me. I don't even really mind that do it yourself mentality. I just don't quite understand what is the point of cashiers. Just make itself check out and throw a security guard at the door."

"First time going, seemed to have the essentials, I never have to go to Walmart , the whole checkout was a waste of time, could easily decrease the check out time by 28% if they had 1 person loading carts up with boxes, and pushing them to cashier, so customers can just go, confused me with the 2 extra load and unloading cart, and crowding the door. Slow and Smooth is fast,"

"Super nice to have Aldi location here in the heart of Niceville. It’s always great to have variety of stores around and have some options. We look forward to shopping here often from here on out. Just FYI, be sure to bring some change (quarters) with you since you have to pay to lend a shopping cart. And also bring some shopping bags or grocery organizers, otherwise you’d have to pay for shopping bags as well."

"A lovely, affordable, grocery option has arrived! Aldi has the staples, in both national and store brands. You are greeted with fresh produce as you walk in the door, the quality and price of which are very hard to beat. The store is clean and well-organized with friendly faces around every corner. You will learn to love it's quirks: carts that "cost" a quarter, quick check out lanes, bring your own bags and bagging your own groceries. It's a self-sufficient attitude that helps keep costs down. If you MUST have name-brand everything, and someone to bring your groceries to your car, this may not be the store for you."
