"A cool spot if you’re not looking for authentic Mexican food. Very hipster vibe in regards to scene and dishes offered, don’t get me wrong the food was definitely uniquely flavored but this wasn’t what I was looking for in regards to flavor in my tacos or burrito. Cool artwork outside tho!"

"This place is a hidden GEM!! The tacos are amazing! There is a huge variety of flavors to choose from and each one is unique and perfectly executed!!! The Duck Asada was cooked perfectly crispy and the blue corn tacos and freshly cooked chips were all incredible! The attention to detail was impressive! Each different hot sauce was flavorful too! Service was fast and very attentive! We brought in a large group of 11 and were well taken care of! I’m only sad I haven’t been here sooner!"

"I don’t leave reviews often, but when I do, it’s because I’ve been likely blown away. Coming from Chicago’s food scene (and obviously having tried tacos in many other states), it could sometimes feel we’ve been spoiled when it comes to flavors, but this is hands down, the best tacos I’ve had in my life. If you appreciate the freshness of the food, and the attention to detail when it comes to seasoning and marinating the meat, you have to come here! It also doesn’t hurt that the owner is nothing short of the nicest person! 25 stars!"

"Far and away the best tacos I’ve had in Florida. Grouper, pastor, and duck were exceptional. You can tell they don’t cut corners on ingredients- lots of intention with the food they serve. A must go in south Sarasota."

"Casa Masa was a HUGE surprise! First, the service was BEYOND fantastic. The gentleman taking orders, who I assume is the owner, is a complete delight. He is generous, humorous, and helpful when ordering. He offered suggestions and easily adjusted dishes to fit non-dairy dietary needs. The establishment is small! Enough seating was NOT available for our group of 5 to sit together. Still, the tiny restaurant area was modern and had an edgy feel we enjoyed. The food was super yummy. The Pico and guacamole was FANTASTIC! The Pico was made with heirloom tomatoes, which I have not seen before. The chips are made with blue corn and flaky salt! The tortillas are also made with blue corn and homemade. Some of the tacos could have used more salt in the protein, but that is an easy fix. Overall, delicious food and amazing service! I would visit again."
