"Seeing Dr Kelly for a few months wasn't helpful to me at all. It was a complete waste of money. I did not find him sincere. I would not recommend him. He also kept ending sessions early so when I told him I still had 15 minutes he acted offended. It felt to me like he only wanted my money."
"If accountability and credibility are virtues that you hold dear, this is NOT the place to bring your problems. I was introduced to Dr. David Kelley from a court list of providers during a mediation session. I made the first available appointment which was two months out. I attended an initial consultation to explain the issue and the contributing factors of the issue including previous attempts at mental health counseling and therapy. I was assured that Dr. Kelley would be able to help because of his experience with similar cases. When I forecasted non-compliance by my children’s mother(because non-compliance had occurred on every other attempt of mine to help my children), I was told that Dr. Kelley would advocate for me and my children up to and including contacting the judge handling my case. We attended 7 total sessions as a trio, myself, and my two daughters. Three of the seven visits were short one child. When I raised an objection to the incomplete attendance not only were my concerns swept aside but, the illustrious Dr. Kelley advocated for the mother of our children. This of course contradicts the statements made during the initial meeting. During the said 7 sessions no goals were set nor, were any objectives set or anything relating to a remedy or a single suggestion or intervention. In conclusion, this is not a place to bring your chronic problem, that seems to be beyond the therapeutic range for Dr. Kelley."
