"I have referred numerous clients to Mr. Hoffman. He is an excellent therapist and no one is a perfect fit for every client. Scheduling an appointment and not showing up or cancelling is chargeable in many professional therapist office. He is one of the few who does not charge full price for a no show and frequently cancels the charge after hearing the reason for the no show. He is a cancer survivor and has lost a child to trauma. Pain develops one’s compassion and ability to help others through painful times and he is one of the best."

"Granted we've only seen him once, but I was very impressed. He counseled my 7 old boy with ADHD who was having problems at home and school with anger and being defiant. He didn't let my son dictate the terms of the meeting, but did it in such a way that my son didn't get defensive (which often happens when being told no). At the end of the hour we were given a behavior plan to follow with him where he had to earn his TV and IPAD time. I will tell you what, it worked. The first day, he lost his priveleges and every day since he works extra hard to get his smiley's on his behavior plan and is even looking forward to seeing his "feelings doctor" again.
