"Update 02/18/24: NO HEAT! It's COLD and nobody at Aspire cares. Amazon sells little heaters small unit that plugs into wall outlet. Less than $20! Guess if I want to stay warm I'll have to buy my own! Update: 01/28/24: This facility that was formerly Heroin Point is now Aspire of Brooksville. I've had no TV for a months. My bed frame is broken and forces my body to the left. Woke up this morning looking at the floor. And the food which used to be good has went downhill. I've Ufacomplained about the unsafe bed and no TV since this second stay at this facility. Nothing but lip service and broken promises. The Aspire Family is new to this facility, so lets see how things co around here. I will further update this review at a later date. This is a professionally managed rehab facility. This is my second visit after taking a fall that should have killed me. Staff is continually cleaning and emptying trash cans. The food has improved a lot since my first visit. The gymnasium staff has got me waking good after 5 recent falls related to the first. My old body at 71 has a lot of hard driven miles on it but I'm planning on living to 100 at a minimum. This is an older facility but regardless of it's age, I've got nothing but praise for the friendly staff and management team. Thanks for all your help!"

"This place is alright. It’s just like every other mid-level nursing home. One thing though, it smells bad…like, the whole place stinks. Maybe consider a better housekeeping staff? People, make sure you have a plan for getting old because nursing homes are NO way to spend your final days."

"My sister and I recently made a trip to Heron Pointe in Brooksville Florida to visit an old friend of our mother's (A promise we had made to our mother before she passed). What a nice place it has become. It was pleasant and very clean. We joked about being able to see our own reflections in the floors because they were so clean and shiny. The staff was nice, accommodating, and very attentive. Our mother's friend was happy there. We left just before lunch, but in her confusion, she had told us that she wanted to invite us to stay and to treat us to enjoy one of the delicious delivery meals she received from the restaurant every day. Our hearts we're filled with such relief. We left feeling good about how nice it was there. We wanted to take her out and enjoy the gazebo, but the weather was overcast and a bit too chilly for her that particular day. We were there visiting about 4+ months back, and I would not have left such a good review back then. I considered leaving a negative review then, but decided to wait in hopes that it was just a bad day, or week for the staff back then that made it seem unkept and impersonal. But this time we were so much more confident in her happiness, and impressed in the cleanliness and the overall atmosphere when we left. I'm glad I waited to give my review. Thank you Heron Pointe. My mom would be happy that her friend is being so will cared for. ❤️"

"I’ve never once been one to write a negative review.But this place deserves it..Do you hate your family member? Want them to be neglected,ignored,made a joke out of,and even better expose them to infectious diseases or viruses? If so then Heron Pointe is the place for them! My dad spent less than a year here before his untimely passing.Prior to being here my dad was lively! He’d go out despite being paralyzed on half of his body,nothing stopped him.The last photo I took of him was at a Best Buy where he just left from submitting an application.But after his time being here I saw him decline.He became fraile and at some point lost himself.When I visited I’d try to talk to a nurse only to be ignored.The way my father passed was a nightmare,no one can tell us how long he was without oxygen to his brain,no one’s can explain how anything happened.I’m told to just call back.This place is hell in earth.Please save your family and NEVER EVER step foot into this hell on earth of a place."
