"My son was seen at BASS for 8 years - first part time and then full time for his severe problem behavior, property destruction and self injurious behavior. The staff treated us as family - they were very connected to my son and provided family support as well. As he got bigger they helped us transition to the next level of care. We consider them friends not just his ABA providers. I highly recommend behavior analysis services at BASS."

"Where to begin... I moved to Gainesville in 2013, after having sought out a community where applied behavior analysis or ABA was being offered. As the mother of a non-verbal child with severe autism, who is also a triplet, finding some place where my son could thrive and grow was just as important as finding a community where all of my children could receive best care. My son was the first child to enroll in BASS's summer camp; soon, he was enrolled there full time and later returned to the facility when they developed a specialized pilot for older children. When I first enrolled my son, he had very few communication skills and was struggling to make eye contact; he could not self feed. Whew! That was hard... Today, my son not only has an expansive ability to communicate using assisted technology but has learned ASL and that alone has opened up so many more possibilities for him. There are no words to describe the despair that parents of non-verbal children with autism experience in fighting every single battle to get resources, advocate for their child's rights and pray at night for little improvements. This center and their staff were right next to me through every phase of my journey! They have built an incredible team of therapists who believe in the abilities of every child to make progress, and it showed. I have relocated from the region now but I know I owe everything to BASS for helping put us on the course to success! Now, the team is not magical -- the parents must do the work, too, but if you help BASS, together, you will experience the life-changing hope that every Autism parent needs to help their families build the very best futures imaginable for not only their children but the entire family unit."

"The therapists working with my child have been life-changing for my her and family. She went from not talking to speaking in sentences, advocating for herself and now has the confidence to act independently. I love how they use positive reinforcement to motivate my child in play-based social play. My child's therapists are fun, patient, and incredibly intuitive. They gave her a chance and taught my family how to help, too! ("It takes a village"). We are internally grateful for what they were able to do for her. If you have a choice in Behavior Analysts, they all seem good, but we have been working with Jessica for 4 years, and she has just been nothing but informative, kind and empathetic to our scheduling and therapy needs. Jessica and her rbts are amazing with kids. We love our Bass team! If you can get on the waiting list, do it. They are so good to my baby. "
