"I love Dr Berg and this review it’s not for her. But the staff in the office make me feel really unwelcome every time. It is not at all pleasant to welcome in the office or when you call they always answer you as if you are bothering them. We are not asking for favors, we are asking for help that is basically not for free. I understand that they can be very busy but there is no reason to treat people in any bad way."

"Dr. Berg is a caring and trustworthy physician. She acted promptly when it was clear a c-section would have been best for me and my baby but still took the time to ask me what I wanted for my birth. I’m very glad I found her."

"This review is not for doctor Berg, I’m sure she’s a great doctor and was highly recommended to her by another well recognized OB who’s no longer taking new patients. Unfortunately the front desk is a mess. I called to make an appointment with her and upon sending all the required labs and referral I thought I got the appointment with Dr Berg as requested via phone and the faxed direct referral specifically said Dr Berg, I was looking for a female OB as I am a female doctor and feel more comfortable. Upon my arrival to the appointment I was greeted rudely by the front desk “ID, insurance card, and payment “ was my welcome to the office. At that time I was informed my appointment was scheduled with Dr Martin, also I was never informed the don’t take Amex and was the only card I had on me. As I was already there I decided to stay and be seen by Dr Martin. Had to call some family to provide a different card and then finally I was able to check in. Dr Martin was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and kind. I was given the option to see Dr Berg at a different day. I couldn’t make it to this appointment and multiple calls were made to let them know about my cancellation and need to reschedule. The front desk placed me on hold for long times until the calls dropped, and they even hung up the phone once. I called after hours and there’s no voicemail so I couldn’t leave a message. Again, nothing with the doctors, but they should really improve the patient management skills at the front desk. I will not be coming here again given the lack of communication, rudeness, provider changes without notice, etc. My intention with this review is to prepare future patients of what to expect and ideally to create a positive change among the front desk staff towards the patients."

"Dr. Berg is a compassionate physician that delivers professionalism coupled with empathy in caring for patients. I was introduced to her during my first pregnancy in 2018. Her humility and passion for obstetrics allow for true relationship building. She took the time to truly understand me as an individual. You are not just another patient passing through the office. For this reason, I returned to her care for my final pregnancy. I knew that I could trust her with my life and my baby's especially with another c-section. From the caring staff at her practice to the staff at the hospital, I witnessed behavior of a well synced cross functional team that respects Dr. Berg and genuinely looks forward to having her work alongside them. There was so much positive energy! My daughter was born in March 2022 and the OR experience with Dr. Berg and the team at Memorial Miramar made her birth and my final pregnancy a truly unforgettable experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you Dr. Berg and team (practice and hospital)!"
