"If I could give ZERO stars I would. Despite reviews I decided to "try" to make an appointment with Dr. Laurie Scott. I called Monday afternoon for a new patient account for a possible threaten miscarriage. With that being said anxiety is high and time is of the essence. On Monday I was told that needed a referral from my primary to be seen even though my insurance does NOT require it. I inquired once a referral was received, how soon would I'd be able to get an appointment and more less when would be the appointment as time was of the essence and if weeks would be the expectation I would try another office. I was told once they receive the referral, I'd be contacted within 24hrs and scheduled probably within the next week. Fine. Called my primary doctor's office Monday afternoon and by 8:30am Tuesday morning my primary called to confirm they did the referral and sent it to the office. Late Tuesday morning I called to confirm receipt and was told they didn't see it or maybe they haven't picked it up yet. My primary sent me a copy, so I asked for their fax and sent via efax and received a successful confirmation. I was told to check back later in the afternoon. I figured let me give them time so called back Wednesday morning. Called several times on Wednesday could never speak to a live person and left a message. Now Thursday, never received a returned call which is what the message said where you leave your info that they would return the call in 24 hours, so I dialed option for operator. Spoke to the operator who transferred me to the scheduling department.Same lady I spoken to on Monday and Tuesday. Gave my information and was told they have nothing (no referral) and I needed referral from my obgyn, not primary. I immediately said I was told my primary and she said ok and "checked" again then asked me for my obgyn and would call them. SORRY, but I've wasted now 3 days trying to see your provider to try to now get a referral from my obgyn when I could have done this on Monday. At this point, my anxiety is high and on the verge of tears at the lack of costumer service and lack of empathy being what I'm trying to see your provider to begin with a THREATENED MISCARRIAGE!!! I'm not trying to schedule liposuction, but trying to confirm the VIABILITY of my pregnancy. UNACCEPTABLE. VERY DISAPPOINTED. ~~~Office manager, review your process for new patients, set expectations and deliver and stop allowing staff to give the turnaround to potential patients, expected mothers with real major issues with their pregnancies. It's a shame that perhaps Dr. Laurie Scott is excellent provider, but because of your staff and process patient are turned away and don't want to bother and see another provider."
"First of all it was impossible to get hold of anyone. My gynecologist scheduled appointment with Laura Scott's office and forgot to tell me the time of the appointment. I was trying to reach this office all day and when I finally got hold of someone they told me I missed my appointment. Then I came for a visit they did not really know what preconditions I had, looks like Laura did not inform her staff although she spoke to my gynecologist. Then they almost sent me home and I had to explain them that my pregnancy is at risk. Jeanine Carbone-Lazarus came to the room and spent 5 min. Then she talked to me in the office for another 5 min letting me know that I need to terminate pregnancy. Frankly I felt I was more knowledgable than this doctor. I do not even know why I was sent there...Later I get billed by this office for 90 min consultation with the doctor and the imaging. I have United Healthcare and although they are within network it looks like they do not have good discount with my insurance because I had to pay $500 out of my pocket. I called the office manager several times to dispute this bill and she never returned my call. I think it is super unprofessional and this way they are going to lose patients. They definitely lost me as one and I would not recommend anyone to see this office. Overprices and worst customer service experience. If you have risk pregnancy look for someone with more experience and better customer service!"
"I like the place. It is quiet and Dr. Jacques is very professional. You will have to wait but remember people are getting ultrasounds and sometimes the babies are not positioned correctly and they have to wait for the baby to move. It is very thorough. Would you want the technician to rush your ultrasound and miss something having to do with your baby growth. Of course not. Yes, if you are late they will reschedule you. Be there on time! Showing up late at any appointment is not professional or courteous. After all, you are not the only one trying to get an ultrasound. No complaints for me! Well, in the office where they take your weight it is a female in there who sits by the window, she never smile, always frowning, looking serious. That is my only issue. Other than that I am good."
"First time I had to deal with this office was about 2 months ago. They booked me an appointment I didn't know about until last minute. I had to cancel it and got harassed many times via phone as to why I canceled the appointment. Come April 2016, my OB called this office to schedule an appointment with them for a 20 week ultrasound. This office told my doctor that I had an appointment at 0930 hours on April 12th 2016. Since I haven't heard anything from this office, I decided to call them today to confirm my appointment. They told me that the appointment was cancelled 2 months ago. I asked the lady on the phone who cancelled it? She said me. I told her I did not and in fact, but OB called you last Monday and you told her I did have an appointment. So what changed in the past 5 business days that you didn't tell anyone about? So, now I'm in a phone tag war between this office and my OB trying to get my a 20 week ultrasound because this doctors office doesn't know how to book appointments apparently and doesn't contact patients once to ever to confirm appointments or to follow up."
"This place is a mess. I was sent there to do prenatal testing. Lab technician sent my test to the wrong labs, not covered by my insurance. I left dozens of messages, they never called back, finally when I was able to talk to them, they promised to investigate and have this bill cancelled. Promised it will not be my responsibility, but, what do you know, two weeks later I am getting collections letters and calls. I don't know any person in his right mind who will choose this office as their OBGYN place. Rude, incompetent, negligent, lying to your face....a mess."
