"I’ve been with them for over 25 years. My truck was involved in a non-moving accident in our driveway in which our boat unhinged and backed into our truck. We used the insurance to cover the repairs. Our premium doubled which they couldn’t justify since the cost to repair the truck was less than the price hike. We spoke to a Pamela, explained to her the sense of urgency being recently diagnosed with cancer and looking forward to a long hospital stay and journey ahead. She said she was going to call us back that same day with quotes. We never received a call back. We had to chase her down and she finally came back with a quote from the initial company that raised our rate, premium was now $200 less a month (half of what it was raised). Asked her for quotes from other companies but she could not give us that information. We are pretty certain she did not bother to even look elsewhere. We did our own research and found quotes at much better rates with practically the same coverage (only difference is rental reimbursement is now $35/per day as opposed to $40). In short, we are now saving close to $200 a month on the monthly premium we had before this mess even started. They used to be great, but not anymore. Do your homework people!"
