Gina's Pizza Bar

"I've been to Gina's now two times. Has someone who is originally from New York and had some of the best pizza and best pasta around never mind being Italian and also having the best home cooking I will have to admit that Gina's is the closest to home cooking if not better and definitely by far better than most of the Italian restaurants in town. The atmosphere is wonderful The restaurant is very clean The staff is extremely friendly and the prices are pretty on par for the quality."

"Our first time at Gina's and we must say from the outside it looks very inviting so we figured let's give it a try. As we approached the restaurant we were greeted by an employee that was cleaning table in front of the restaurant. As we walked we sat at the bar which were greated by a great bartender (Diane). She told us about the menu and all dishes that she likes. We ordered two Sangrias and they were really good. As we waited for our good we were listening to Billy Joel and I felt really comfortable to point that said I really like this place. Then our food and all I can say is "WOW"...... we can't wait to come back. Thank you to all who helped us."

"Came to Gina’s for a late lunch & we were IMPRESSED! We got a crown & coke, 2 personal pepperoni pizzas, shrimp scampi, spaghetti & meatballs, calamari & a small pasta fagioli soup to go. The star of the night was the shrimp scampi. This was hands down the BEST scampi I’ve ever had. From the large, fresh shrimp, to the white wine sauce with the loads of roasted garlic. This was PERFECTLY done. The Calamari were very fresh & the marinara was flavorful. The pizza was a little oily due to the pepperoni but had a crispy undercarriage. The cheese was super tasty too. The the meatballs were huge & DELICIOUS! Some of the best we’ve ever had! The service was among the best! Our server was very insightful & friendly! 9/10 definitely recommend; we will be back to try more!"

"My wife and I decided to try Gina's Pizza Bar tonight, mostly on the recommendations of Charlotte County Eats and others. The first thing we noticed when we walked in is that it was larger than we had thought. The dining area is spacious, bright and well kept. We were greeted as we entered and led to a table. Christina was our very capable server and she gave us our menus. We looked at the extensive menu and it was filled with great Italian classics and some Italian/American and even Greek menu items. We decided if we were at a pizza place we just ought to have a pizza and Gina's Special seemed right to us. One word though. Contrary to what I read online, they do not have a MEDIUM size. So it is either Personal size, LARGE, or what they call Bigga Pie...or as I call it...HUMONGOUS. We settled for the LARGE and we were NOT disappointed. It was Delicious! I was so excited, that I forgot to take a BEFORE picture and so, what you see are the 4 slices we brought back HOME. We were full with just 2 slices apiece. I really don't think you can go wrong at Gina's Pizza Bar and we will be back to sample their great menu. You owe it to yourself to check it out. You will not be sorry."
