Matthew is dedicated to ensuring that people of all ages understand and master effective self-defense techniques. As a brown belt under Michael Torres and founder of a Jiu Jitsu team affiliated with Torres Jiu Jitsu in Houston, Texas, he is committed to providing top-notch instruction in hand-to-hand combat skills.
In addition to his military background, Matthew holds a Master of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and an Executive Certificate in Christian Leadership from Liberty University. He is also a best-selling author of a graphic novel titled "Fleeing Darkness" and a dedicated family man with a love for comic books.
