Traditional Aikido of Sarasota, located at 279 Interstate Court in Sarasota, Florida, is a unique martial arts institution dedicated to the practice of Aikido, The Way of Harmony. Our vision is to help individuals develop their self-mastery through the practice of Aikido, cultivating skills such as assertiveness, compassion, and clear, decisive action in all aspects of life.
At Traditional Aikido of Sarasota, we believe in approaching conflict with courage and compassion, confronting life's challenges with a whole-hearted spirit. Our practice extends beyond the mat, influencing the way we interact with others and make choices in our daily lives. We are a community that supports each other in developing qualities worth defending.
As a traditional dojo, we welcome students of all ages and experience levels to practice and grow at their own pace. We do not require contracts or charge extra fees for advancement. All we ask is that you start and persevere in your practice.
We invite you to try a class before joining our dojo, where you will meet other students, experience Aikido in action, and learn basic techniques.
