"I had the most unusual experience today in the store. I was looking for a new pair of fins. I eventually decided on a pair so now we just needed to find my size. I asked Chris how much they cost. He very casually said $120.00. We found a pair in the drawer. Chris was processing the sale and said they actually cost a lot more but I'm going to honour my quote to you of $120.00. He said I can't charge you more after saying they cost less. Sale completed, I headed home. Got home and upon taking them out of the bag they were in, saw a sticker that said 'clearance $50.00'. I called the store and asked about this and Chris made some odd comment about how they must of been put into a clearance bin to get rid of them. That's a nice thing to say to a client who just bought the product. I feel really good about my purchase now. Then he asked "So what do you want me to do?" I said I think you owe me $70. He said fine, come by the store and I'll give you a refund. I drove back, with the bag with the clearance label on it, walked in and he opened his wallet and gave me $70 cash (very odd) even though I paid by credit card. He took the bag and threw it out...but it's the way he did it...the attitude...you could see he was annoyed. My husband and I have shopped in this store a number of times. Not sure we're going back. Perhaps it was an honest mistake, but how you deal with a mistake says everything about your business and your philosophy of how much you value customers. He could have just as easily said he was sorry about the oversite and said "Let me take care of this for you"...that didn't happen. Did I mention I didn't get a receipt for my purchase...very odd. Another retailer may have just asked me for my credit card details and processed a credit on my card rather than asking me to drive back to the store...another very odd thing."

"I just did my first international dive trip with Scubadventures to Bonaire and it was the best trip of my life! Chris always made sure every one was safe, having fun, and diving something new and exciting every day. If you're going somewhere else for your diving needs, I have no idea why!! Scubadventures is the TRUTH. I don't know of anyone more knowledgable and helpful then Chris and Brenden."

"My husband called many places looking for a mask. Once we got into town, we went straight here to look. Took a few minutes for the guys to even acknowledge that we were in the store!! One guy came out, at first he was nice talking to us - then left us there looking around. Went back in the room with the other guys talking!! We made a decision to buy. My husband had to peep his head around the corner for him to come back out, ridiculous! Keep in mind we had been in the store now for about 25 minutes. Came out and just threw mask up there and walked back in the back. Ended up no even the mask we wanted! Just rude.!! Only wanted to a sale but didn’t want to help! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Just didn’t care to help us at all so took our business down the street!"
