I needed urgent updates on my child's vaccine forms for their admission into special advanced classes at the public high school. Despite explaining the time-sensitive situation, the staff refused assistance, citing a missed well-child visit. I begged them to see him as soon as possible and they said we would have to wait until the following week and there was nothing they could do to help me. Desperate for a solution, I contacted another pediatrician's office, which suggested the health department—a crucial piece of information Island Coast Pediatrics failed to provide. Shame on them for their lack of communication and support during a critical time. Thankfully, the health department swiftly resolved the issue with just an ID. Parents, be aware that Island Coast Pediatrics might not prioritize timely assistance, potentially affecting your child's academic opportunities. My experience highlights the importance of reliable and communicative healthcare providers, especially when it comes to crucial moments in a child's education."

"Staff is always helpful and very nice. Any time I need to bring my kids in I know the doctors will do what is needed to help my kids feel better. They only see patients with appointments, but that has never been a problem for us."

"The fort Myers office was horrible. We are usually at the Estero office which has always been great, however this time was not at all. When we arrived for the appointment they told us we were not scheduled even though someone had called me at 8:43 that morning and said to come in at 10:30 for 10:40 appointment. When we got there we were told we were not on the schedule. Then it was made out to seem like it was my fault I didn’t realize I never got a confirmation text for the appointment. I live in Bonita so when I got the call at 8:43 am and had to be there by 10:30 I was getting myself and son ready, NOT paying attention to my phone for a text!!! We had to wait TWO hours to be seen. No one checked on us, no one was sympathetic. When we saw the P.A. They told us the diagnosis was a normal finding. When I requested imaging we were told no. For a kid with a hard lump on their neck that HURTS and has had major medical problems earlier this year , you would think they would be more compassionate and accommodating to the patient. As someone who works in the medical field , I am disgusted and disappointed. I would never make a patient wait 2 hours like that and to make it seem like why we were there was nothing serious is incredibly unprofessional and horrible patient care."
