"The staff is great however doctor Afzal came off very unprofessional. He immediately wanted to put my child on medication even though his diagnosis does not effect his school work at this moment. I let him know about the blinking my child has been doing he said it’s normal and that I need to take him to the optometrist. I told him he’s already been 20/20 vision and no dry eye, he said it’s just something he has to live with and that it’s probably due to stress I and that we probably see it more when he’s stressed and I said no we see it more when he’s watching TV or the iPad but we do see it when he’s stressed. He said again it’s normal and I said no It’s not and it’s gotten worse and your other office referred him to a neurologist and the nurse I spoke to said it sounded like seizure activity. He laughed and said no it’s not that it’s normal. I said okay we’re still going he said that’s fine they are just going to tell you after the tests that’s it’s a tick I said that’s fine we’ll find out. If I were a doctor I would rather be safe than sorry. I would recommend getting the tests done just in case something showed up in a brain scan. I hope other people have better experiences. But this is my story"

"it's sad to read that ex- employees elizabeth byrd and jasika Rojas would write a review about an ex place of employment. As we have all seen from your pictures that you posted of YOUR office that you worked in EVERY DAY that you did not care about your work ethics. As my self I work for a doctor and my self and rest of the ladies in the office does cleaning and making sure the office is clean and safe that's part of your job. By the looks you ladies did NOTHING. Some things that you posted are thing that the MA and other staff are to schedule picks for. So lets PLACE the blame were is REALLY belongs . Doctor's do their best to help people and that's why they have staff to make sure their backs are covered. Tavares Pediatrics is a GREAT practice and a amazing Doctor before you judge this practice Please look at the picture's and ask what did the STAFF do to keep the office clean and up and running . Maybe that's why the staff was let go !!!!"

"This place has been amazing to my boys! They are very consistent about shot, very invested in their patients well being and they care so much more then I could ever ask for! I feel I’m a worry bug about my babies and even with the slightest concern they give me the advice and answers I need when I need them and they will ask me if I’d like to set up an appointment to make sure they are both okay! I would HIGHLY recommend this place! ( I’m the mother of a nicu baby & another amazing little boy, they go above and beyond for them! )"

"We used to Love them! Ever since Melissa left the place has gone to pot! The PA is clueless and rude! The chick at the front desk is rude and nasty! I called the office manager in Clermont to report the issues and was given the option to go to Leesburg or Clermont office instead! WTH! Really! Monthly appts and the PA can't even give refills on the meds that aren't controlled. Nobody is oncall! You can't get anyone on the weekends or after hours for the refills much less if you had an emergency! Very lousy! I have my son and all 5 of my grandchildren going here and all are now being switched to a different provider! I wouldn't have even given 1 star but that wasn't an option! You people really need to take some serious classes in customer service! You suck at it! Big time!"

"Love this place!! This has been my daughter's Pediatrician for 4 years now, she adores Melissa and so do I. We've always been treated with nothing but kindness and respect and that is what they all get in return. Melissa has never steered us in the wrong direction on a diagnosis or treatment; and I research everything. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone, anytime, any insurance!! FYI...I don't have Private Insurance and I get Great care here!!"
