The history of The Wooly dates back to 1856 when the land was purchased for a downtown square. Over the years, the building has served various purposes, from a two-story hotel called The Arlington Hotel to a general store, a bank, and a five and dime store. In 2013, The Wooly opened its doors as a music venue for The Fest, a punk music festival.
Conveniently located in downtown Gainesville, just minutes away from the University of Florida, The Wooly is the ideal venue for your next event.
