"The Bharatnatyam dance class was amazing. Poornima is so supportive and patient while teaching. You don't feel nervous or feel a bit left behind at all. Individual attention is being paid to every student. I absolutely loved it. The dance class atmosphere in general is very positive, inclusive and light hearted. And the ability to showcase what you have learnt in the winter and summer dance recital shows is something to look forward to. "First of all, this academy is run by an amazing woman and she has a team of amazing teachers teaching different genres of Indian dance. This September 2023 marks 1 year anniversary since I joined Sristhi to learn Bharatnatyam with very minimal prior experience. My Bharatnatyam teacher Poornima Balan is beyond amazing and deeply knowledgeable. She makes every class session engaging and I often leave the class satisfied from the feeling that I’ve learned something new or I’ve gotten better at what I have learned already.
