Outpost Range

"Beautiful facility and range. Definitely one of the nicest ranges we’ve been to. The main building was very clean and well kept. They also have a good selection of rental firearms that we saw. We only had time for the rifle range which has many lanes that go out to 100 yards. As you go to the left they have several that go to 200, 300 yards and then the far left 600 yards. They have electronic targets and steel which is awesome so you don’t have to walk out 600 yard to hang targets. The staff were all excellent, very friendly and good people. Especially Chris, “G” who were in the shop and Darryl the RSO on the rifle range. We were new to the place but Chris and G made us feel welcome and gave us good recommendations on what to do. There was never any pressure or feeling that you were being pushed to do anything. Chris was very accommodating and patient. At the rifle range you have to “qualify” to shoot past 100 yards by passing a qualification at each distance. Darryl set us up with this. He was very helpful, friendly, and overall great to be around while still being professional. With the assistance of my buddy as spotter, we were able to finish the session ringing steel at 600 yards. Check out the video clip. This trip was absolutely worth it."

"First time here, while visiting in Crystal River, from South Florida. There is nothing like this place down by me! You walk in, and the place is just clean and well organized. All of the staff we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The range officers were all friendly and helpful, not like the ones in South Florida, who have one tone of voice: yelling. We used the higher-caliber steel targets on the pistol range, something we do not have in South Florida. I liked the net system in the divers to help catch shells. Simply and effective at keeping the areas clean! We even ran into one of your staff members outside of the facility at a restaurant, and he was super friendly there too! We cannot wait to return!"
