"Good field. Not maintained the best"
"This used to be a great place to play ball. The ACPS seems to have completely neglected the care of the fields. There are huge holes(craters) in front of the "mounds" that they expect the young players to step off the "mound" into and not break an ankle or leg. The probable mounds they have for use are ridiculously short and are making the craters even bigger. Forget the upkeep of the routine grounds and just make the fields safe for our children."
"It's a ballpark in that it does have bases, backstops, and bleachers, but that's about it. The facilities are functional but old and need work. It could be a great park again with some additional maintenance but the city has let it fall into disrepair."
"Every Saturday is soccer, softball, and flag football! I wish the concessions were available, and that more funds are made towards the i9 program. It is exceedingly important to have these activities in the lives of our local youth. Gainesville has the talent and ability to make this complex amazing and getting the parents more active rolls in shaping this growing program."
