Food & Thought is a unique institution located at 2132 Tamiami Trail North in Naples, Florida. Founded by Frank Oakes, this establishment is more than just a grocery store or restaurant - it is a lifestyle. With a mission to provide only organic food and promote sustainability, Food & Thought offers an organic cafe, juice bar, grocery store, and clothing store all in one place.
The organic farm located in Naples grows over 60 varieties of fruits, vegetables, and herbs, which are available for purchase in the store. The gourmet kitchen serves up delicious organic dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with options ranging from quiche to wild caught fish.
In addition to food, Food & Thought offers 100% fruit smoothies, fresh juices, and a selection of coffee and tea. The clothing store, Thoughtful Threads, features clothing made from organic cotton, hemp, and sustainable blends.
Food & Thought 2 is a new all organic restaurant with a menu crafted by Executive Chef Dan Kniola and Executive Sous Chef Raena Hobson. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week, as well as a full liquor bar and live music on nights and weekends.

"A true farm to table experience. They own the farm and the store. You can’t get fresher than that. Fully stocked shelves of fruits, vegetables, and organic products. Excellent juice bar and hot food. Chicken was unlike anything you will get at a restaurant. The vegetable sides were so perfect they look like they came out of a magazine photo shoot. Definitely worth the drive if it’s out of your area. You will not be disappointed."

"Super cute place to shop for groceries but also to grab a bite to eat. They even have a juice and coffee bar but I will say that the juices are a bit pricey. I paid $9 for a small cup of the Sunset juice but it was delicious. Now, for the same $9 I got the chicken salad sandwich with chips and although there wasn't much to it or anything special but it was pretty good. The ambiance itself is great and my favorite thing about the entire place, they have tables outside and inside"
