Dr. Leanet Ascunce, originally from Havana, Cuba, has a passion for pediatric dentistry that began in her own childhood. After earning her DMD degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry, she completed a General Practice Residency to further her expertise. With a focus on patient-centered care, our team welcomes parents to be present during their child's treatment, building trust and comfort.

"We had our first visit today and we were so impressed with this office. I had been looking for a new dentist for my girls because I had been so unsatisfied with our previous dentist and I have to say I am so happy I found Little Big Smiles. The staff was excellent! Very friendly and professional. Everything was super clean and welcoming. They even found that my daughter has 2 extra teeth that no other dentist had told me about! They referred us to an oral surgeon and made my 9yo feel very comfortable about all of it. My kids now look forward to their next appointments , which has never happens."
"Today was my daughter first visit. The staff were very friendly and polite. The atmosphere felt very welcoming. I love the little play area set up. Great location! Our appointment was at 7:30 and we didn’t have to wait that long to be called back. Sara did an amazing job! She demonstrated everything to my daughter and talked her through it. Once we got in the car my daughter mentioned that she likes this place. I 100% recommend this dentist for anyone looking for their little ones."
"10/10!!! My 3 kids and I loved it here. My son was excited to see his name and his siblings names on a welcome board and I thought it was sooo cute. Everyone was so incredibly kind, patient, and informative. The Dr explained everything to me very clearly and never felt rushed. The kids get to watch their favorite shows above them to keep them calm, then got to pick a nice little reward when they were all done. The waiting area has two tablets and an interactive activity that my kids loved so much they didn’t want to leave when their appointment was finished. I can’t say enough good things. Very happy with my decision to switch dentist and come here."
"Beautiful office with beautiful friendly staff and dentist. My daughter was super nervous going in for an emergency visit but they had a virtual game area, and her favorite Paw Patrol to watch while she waited in the chair for the dentist. They got us in for an emergency right away. Very happy with this new office!"
