"I’m here at the graduation and this is so boring. They’re spending more time speaking about themselves and playing commercials than actually talking about the graduates. Graduations should be fun, and this is literally a snooze fest! Thanking so many professors and campuses, we are here for our graduates!! This is organized but BORING and EXHAUSTING!"
"Do not waste your time, energy, or money. There are so many better options out there and ones that do not involve predatory loans and administrations who fill you with misinformation and false hope. I signed up with Keiser University earlier this year in January and was told that if I completed my prerequisites with C's, passed the TEAS exam, got 3 letters of recommendation, and a nursing interview I would be accepted into clinical rounds come next Jan (24). I lost my grandmother and during that month I did not do well in my class ending with a D, my advisor informed me that 3 A's would make up for the D. After completing those 3 A's I was informed that my advisor was incorrect and that rule does not apply to the nursing program. Then after completing A&P1 with a C I was informed I would have to take that class over because you need a B in science, something I was also misinformed about. During my nursing interview, I asked about the transfer process to the NPR campus since I was enrolled in Tampa and live closer to the NPR campus, I was under the impression same school different campuses shouldn't be such an issue but it was. The person interviewing me did not inform me that asking such a question about the process would result in me being taken off the wait-list. I found out two months later, in the 20th hour, that I had lost my seat for January for asking that simple question. Mind you, I never put in a formal request and NPR campus did not even have a file on me. When I spoke to wait-list coordinator she told me it was not the interviewer's job to inform me about being taken off the wait-list which is comical to me because why is someone conducting interviews who doesn't even know what the school policies are? After all my hard work, sacrifices, and signing a loan with 15% interest I was told I would have to wait until August 2024 to be enrolled into nursing core and when asked what I was supposed to do until then I was told I would be a dropped/renenrolled student. I hope this review finds someone looking to enroll in Keiser and makes them look for other options. They just want to collect their funds, they do not care about you or your future. Also, please look up how many lawsuits they have had to pay out for their predatory loan culture, you'd be so surprised. Update- I emailed the community relations response email left as a comment on my review.. no response.. they're just trying to save face more evidence they really do not care"
"I had the pleasure of working with Thai M. as my student advisor, and I can't praise her enough. Thai M. went above and beyond to ensure that I was well taken care of throughout my academic journey. Her professionalism and dedication are truly exceptional. As an international student, I know that there are many additional document requirements, and Thai M. worked tirelessly to ensure that everything was in order. Her thoroughness and attention to detail made the entire process smooth. Having dealt with several universities in the past, I can confidently say that the communication with Thai M. is top-notch. She made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend her and will enthusiastically suggest her to everyone I know. Thank you, for your outstanding support!"
"I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the predatory and discriminatory practices that I have experienced during my time at Keiser University. As a student who aspired to pursue a career in nursing, my journey with the university has been marked by a series of disturbing events that raise serious questions about the institution's integrity and commitment to its students. In January of this year, I was ecstatic to have been accepted into Keiser University's Nursing program, having been given just a two-month window for the background check process. This opportunity represented a significant step in my academic and professional goals. I subsequently chose to move forward with the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program. However, approximately three weeks into the program, well after the drop date/add cutoff, I was unceremoniously removed from the program due to a past charge that was subsequently dismissed in court, involving a false statement. What is most disheartening about this experience is that Keiser University was already aware of my background situation as early as July. I had initiated the process of entering the nursing program nearly a year prior, and the university possessed this information all along. The sudden expulsion from the program left me in a state of shock, disbelief, and distress, given that the charges against me had been dismissed in 2016. It is deeply troubling that Keiser University decided to proceed with my acceptance into the program while fully cognizant of my background and then abruptly decided to withdraw that acceptance. What compounds my frustration is the fact that I later discovered that Keiser University had allowed four other individuals with dropped and dismissed charges to enter the nursing program. This apparent inconsistency raises significant ethical and moral questions about Keiser's admission practices. This seems not only predatory but also discriminatory, as it appears that the university selectively applies its admission criteria. Furthermore, the financial aspects of this situation are deeply concerning. Keiser University charged me a significant sum of $12,000.00 for the entire semester, even though I was summarily removed from the program. I was denied access to scholarships and grants that could have been invaluable to my education. This predatory financial practice is unacceptable, and it should not be condoned. I am deeply disappointed that my dreams of pursuing a nursing career at Keiser University have been unjustly shattered, not due to my own actions but because of the institution's inconsistent and seemingly discriminatory practices. I strongly urge Keiser University to reevaluate its admission and expulsion policies, to treat all students fairly, and to address the unethical financial practices that I have experienced. No student should be subjected to such an unjust, distressing, and financially detrimental experience. I am looking for legal representation currently for this matter to hopefully stop this unethical practice."
"My experience with this institution has been phenomenal from start to finish. Starting with the academic advisor I spoke to (best communication of any place I have attended) and the financial advisors, they made me felt heard and always willing to answer any question I had. I completed the Radiologic Technolgy program and could not be more satisfied. I started the program during the start of Covid which made this program remote (usually all on-campus). The faculty did very well making sure we obtained the information we needed, they were very organized, and always willing to help outside of scheduled class time. Every week of every class we completed the academic advisement with each professor, making sure we were successful and what we needed to do to continue our success. The program is not perfect (nothing is), but I would only recommend this institution to anyone wanting to attend the Radiologic Technology program."
