"Dr. Hurtado - Poor experience First of all, my doctor, Perla del Pino, is a great doctor, who takes care of everything. She has always been very assertive and helpful. I am grateful, but since Dr del Pino is away until next Monday and her staff at the office suggested seeing Dr. Carmen Maria Hurtado for a Tele Health Visit, because I am feeling terrible with a cold. It was a very short visit, where I explained my symptoms and concerns. My cold started last week on Tuesday, but on Sunday I started to notice that the mucus discharged was with color, which worried me a lot, in addition to my sore throat, pain in my ear, congestion, and contestant coughing. After all this, she instructed me to take Sudafed, which I responded by reminding her that I have High Blood Pressure and I can't take that. She did not even read my folder before the visit. She did not approve the cough medicine Dr del Pino prescribed. She didn't care to learn more about the color of the discharge. She was not helpful at all and we ended the video call. I'm still feeling very bad and feel that I was offered no true resolution. When you visit a doctors office you hope to leave with some peace of mind that there’s a solution to your ailments but this wasn’t the case at all."

"the following are my opinions and observations which as a patient/human being I am entitled to share publicly. One star because the cons outweigh the pros. Visited the office multiple times before I concluded my opinions and observations. The front desk and medical assistant : courteous , knowledgeable , kind , attentive to detail answered all questions and it is easy to schedule appointments. The office waiting area: is very clean, easy to make appts in person. The Md/doctor : After multiple visits concluded I do NOT feel comfortable with Carmen Hurtado MD to be my doctor or my loved ones doctor. This md/doctor is not a good fit for myself or my loved ones as their experiences were similar to mine. The search continues to seek medical guidance from a professional who would be respectful and involved in a proactive approach to ensure a positive experience in their patients overall healthcare journey - Carmen Hurtado MD office at 1951 SW 172 Avenue Miramar, FL 33029 - Memorial Hospital Medical Office Building - located in Miramar, FL is undoubtedly and unfortunately NOT a good fit as a healthcare provider for myself or my loved ones at this time or at any time in the future."
