"Took my boyfriend’s French family for their first American diner experience. Long story short, they LOVED it: the cozy yet lively ambiance, the giant alligator on the wall, and of course the food. I got the Mangrove Omelette (asparagus, crabmeat, lobster sauce). Sauce was rich and flavorful and very generous with the crabmeat. Merci !"

"5-star in the diner breakfast, portion to cost, and service categories! Loved our server Kelly! Funny, friendly, and fast! Loved our crispy tots on the side and generous portions. Kitschy decor too! Fun buzzing atmosphere. Easy to get to between key largo and key west. Great breakfast! Great value! We got the eggs Benedict, tater tots, and a side of corned beef hash- all good!"

"We ended up stopping here the first day to grab some sandwiches Togo for breakfast. We made our own biscuits with sausage, egg and cheese which were ok but it was like sausage and not a patty which I don’t prefer as much. The next day I went by myself and got a tater tot tower and bacon, egg and cheese on white toast for the other guys. The other guys said the sandwiches were awesome. But this tater tot tower was crazy. This was more food than any person should probably eat in a sitting and it was a very reasonable price. You could easily share this. The one I had came with scrambled eggs and sausage gravy and country ham. I didn’t read the country ham part when I ordered it so I would leave that out next time. But it was great. The service is awesome and the food is good and comes out quick. Great little spot."
