"I thought I paid what I owed at the time of the visits, but it's only two $5 co-pays so whatever...I'll just pay it. The thing that amazes me is that they printed a website address on the bill where I could supposedly create an account and pay online, but the link doesn't work! Seems that would be a fairly basic, important detail to check before printing. I found it by Googling and the link is totally different."

"I paid for services and they are threatening to send the bill to collections even though I have sent them proof that they received and cashed the funds. Check the reviews, there is an obvious trend. At this point the State should intervene."

"I don't even want to give 1 star to this company. I received a bill that was billed incorrectly and even though it is a covered service under my insurance plan because it was billed incorrectly I am stuck paying the price. Like others have stated dealing with their billing department is so utterly painful, it's unbelievable that a company can function like this. I was told either I can pay my bill in full, be sent to collections or go on a payment plan... for something that I should not be paying for to begin with, my insurance would cover it if it were billed correctly! The billing person told me that the billing code is not related to the service being performed or the diagnosis but instead relates the person performing the service, which is a load of garbage... there are two billing codes, a procedure code and a diagnosis code... they are saying there is a single code. I can't even get accurate information or a person above the billing department to send a complaint to, because apparently the billing department runs the show at Sheridan. They are sticking patients with a bill when it's a covered service under their insurance plan because of their incompetence to bill correctly. I guess while I'm a new mom in the hospital trying to figure out how to care for my new child I need to start asking for billing codes before a routine exam is done on my baby and call my insurance to make sure it's covered before these morons do anything. DO NOT USE ANY PROVIDER ASSOCIATED WITH SHERIDAN IF YOU HAVE AN OPTION."

"Absolutely the worst experience I've had trying to get a refund for a long overdue double payment. Tried 11 times, refunds manager and team leader are not available to take calls, and customer service representatives are far from helpful. Tried also calling their corporate offices, left a message, and filed a BBB complaint. I'd think someone, somewhere owns this company, and I'd absolutely love to speak with him or her. A shining example of business practices 101 and what NOT to be like. These folks appear to have missed the bus on the day of that class...."

"At this point (6 mo.) I have been trying to resolve a billing issue which seems to be extremely difficult for them to do with this Sheridan Healthcare. It appears they need some new people in the billing dept. as they do not know their own billing codes, which is their job. Most of us have to do our job correctly in order to collect a pay check. They have difficulty figuring what insurance co to send the invoice to and keep making the same mistake again and again even though I have tried to tell them they have the wrong company in addition to the incorrect codes they are billing with. I don't know how to fix stupid but I do know how to fix this bill if they don't."
