The FGCU Community Counseling Center, located at 10501 FGCU Boulevard South in Fort Myers, Florida, is a state-of-the-art facility offering counseling and consulting services to residents of Southwest Florida. Supervised counseling services are provided by graduate-student counselors, covering a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship and family functioning, career and life transitions, school performance, and parenting challenges. Individual counseling appointments typically last 45 to 50 minutes, while groups and initial assessment meetings may require longer sessions. Clients may schedule appointments on a weekly or biweekly basis for up to three semesters.
The center features six counseling rooms, two group counseling rooms, and a play counseling/therapy room, all equipped with live and recorded observation capabilities for training and research purposes.
