Due to the hostility of the front desk I except I will no longer go to Primary Care Institute as soon as we are allowed to change plans."

"I have always received excellent service and medical care at the Primary Care Institute. Dr. Odocha and his team of health care providers all care about my health and well being. I have never in my 50+ years received a monthly, “how are you doing call” from any health provider’s office. Primary Care has consistently made monthly wellness contacts with me. The reception area staff are always very courteous and professional. I am grateful I have a professional medical team and staff interested in my health and well being."

"I used to really enjoy the care I received at this primary care facility, but today I no longer recommend them. Katherine Swan is an exceptional nurse practitioner. However, I genuinely have been unable to receive care for over a year - maybe two - now because their front desk is so horrible. Over a year ago I called to get an appointment when I was feeling sick and there was a mixup with my insurance so before they would schedule me they had to resolve that...never heard back so I had to go to urgent care. They also billed me full copay for appointments that in the past were billed as my annual checkup so they were free...they wouldn’t budge. Why? Not sure. On multiple occasions I called to try to get the insurance updated so we could move forward and they would take the info and never call me back. Today I called to see if they could provide me with a sample of the inhaler I need because I lost my job and the inhaler is $200 a month without insurance. I was told they can’t give me a sample if they don’t have one, so I asked how we go about checking to see if they have one, and I was put on hold for about a minute and then the lady came back and just said “we don’t have one”. So much for caring about patients I guess. 100% would not send anyone I care about to this facility anymore. The doctors and nurses may care, but the front desk builds a very inhospitable wall between patients and their care providers. We are all human and sometimes we need those who can provide help to go slightly above and beyond the black and white rules that this front desk clearly worships."

"I have been a patient here for 4 years and had a very positive experience. Cody really takes his time, listens, and pays attention to what you have to say. I see other people have had issues with the office staff but I’ve had no such issue. Their nurses are great as well. The only issue I do have is there are a lot of ads in the waiting room for more alternative treatments like CBD, Garcia Cambogia/weight loss supplements, and b12 shots. But during my appointments it’s never been anything other than normal, standard, evidence based medicine."
