"Update: After waiting for a reschedule, they call AGAIN two days before my appointment to reschedule again. I told them my condition was very serious and that's not an option for me. The lady's response was, "You have to understand, Dr. (doctor's name) is a very important man and you are not his only patient! You need..." At this point I hung up. It seems Simed's policy on health care is to ignore patients until they give up or pass away. What kind of doctor's office directly tells a patient they're unimportant? If I could give negative stars, I would. Original review: "Hi this is Simed Urology. We're rescheduling you." "What? Why?" "So I have you in for the 24th now, okay?" "No, not okay. For what reason? "Vasectomy consult was informative and reasonable. ~190 for the consult, ~500 for the surgery. Had to wait ~2 weeks for the consult, and am scheduled another 2-3 weeks for the surgery. Had to wait ~30 minutes before seeing a doctor, which (sadly) is better than average. Surgery went well, no issues. Everything was done through Cristoforo Cama. Good doc."

"Doctor Rifkin talked down to me with every word he said. The people in the office are mean to the patients. I tried to withhold judgment but by my 3rd visit it was unreal. The doctor finally deemed to glance over my records about 30 seconds before my cystoscopy, where he comes in surprised, "You really did have a Urolift." He didn't believe that I had had a procedure done until that point. After not seeing any obvious problems during my cystoscopy, he lets me know that I need to see a specialist. Turns out he doesn't know about the Urolift procedure. After 3 months of dealing with pain, prostate spasms, I find out he is not qualified to help me beyond the most basic post-procedure problems. So I'm off to find another urologist that might help me. I would recommend traveling as far as you must to not have him as your doctor."

"Very first visit husband was seen and doc was in a rush due to emergency. We understand emergencies happen. So we over looked it. Today I go in just to pay our bill and the front desk receptionist was one of the rudest people I’ve ever seen. I wish she had been wearing her ID badge so I knew what her name was. Not sure what her problem was but next time she’s gonna get both barrels. You would think according to other reviews they would welcome $. At least I was there to pay a bill. ( for a rushed visit at that.) It is also time to get rid of the temp taking. Over it!!!!!!! It’s time to change ways of doing things or you are going to lose a lot of business no matter how good your docs are!!!!"

"Up till today it would’ve qualified for 5 stars, but one of the staff was not as friendly or interested in me as a patient like other times. Probably having a bad day and besides being user friendly can be stressful. But the rest were brilliant! Dr Cama is a star!"
