"Immediately when I try to sign in at front desk, I approach (As I’m supposed to)I’m here to check in she cuts me off mid sentence and yells, someone will be right with you in a very rude classless tone, rather explain her computer is down. in BEHAVIORAL HEALTH 1. First and last time here. Not putting up with this already. Enough problems on the West Coast to have to put up with the trash here in the south. Contacting patient advocate. Will post name later. 12/04/23."

"Original Post: We met with Dr. Smith. I had the pleasure of having Dr. Sydney Houffe as my neurologist when I was in my 20's and he was the Dean of Neurology at Georgetown University prior to meeting him. He had also served with Patch Adams. During the consultation with Dr. Smith I was reminded of Dr. Houffe. He and she took the time to listen and care. When a Dr listens and cares, you feel like you are being heard. There were some glitches though in regards to technology. An order for a Pet Scan was coded wrong and we waited for a phone call. 2 months went by. When we called we were told it was marked as a consult. I hope the technological issues get fixed. †*****† 10/10/23 I wanted to update this. I have never been in the military BUT I am a Christian. We are still dealing with inaccurate documentation. From the listing of allergies to weeds...the inaccurate comments regarding oppioids to the note to keep drinking and smoking... to the lack of documentation in regards to Tylenol use... to which Dr. Smith said "you are taking how many for the pain? That will eventually kill you!" ±++++++± 1:11 am 10/11/2023 He had to use the nebulizer last night His allergies to dust and sand and weeds is being affected I have the doors open and the rented home is one side grass and one side weeds. I asked himwhy he hasn't picked up his Flonase. He said. I tried 3 times and she has denied the refill 3 times for 2 months. +++++++ Update 10/30/23 A nurse called tasked with doing the job of someone in customer service. I say that because she didn't know or look up the history before or during the call. This caused trauma again. I know Kaiser Permanente nurses were on strike. I don't know if this is a training, staffing, or management issue? Thank you and God Bless for her intent and goal of call was accomplished. But questions were asked."

"I recently had my first consultation with my new Primary Care doctor at this facility and it was the best consultation I have ever had at any VA and at any Primary Care outside of the VA. From the time I entered the facility all the way through. I have been to multiple VA facilities in Missouri and in Florida, and this facility beats them ALL. I have transferred all of my doctor's care to the Port Richey facility."
