In addition to our clinical services, we also have an audiology retail store on-site for your convenience. UF Health also offers day-of, on-site imaging services and aids for individuals with disabilities to help with effective communication. Guests can enjoy free wireless internet access, gender-neutral restrooms, and baby-changing stations throughout our facilities. "My 1 year old is a patient here and our experience has always been great from check in all the way through check out. All of the staff is kind and helpful. I’d specifically like to acknowledge my child's audiologist Kristin Letlow. She has been phenomenal through the process of my son’s hearing loss diagnoses. Very informative not only on the hearing loss itself but on available programs that can help us appropriately navigate his disability. She has helped make sure that the process to get hearing aids and speech therapy for us is as smooth as possible and has always made sure all of our questions are answered even if she needs to go above and beyond with a follow up call/email. We are also always seen quickly upon arrival and never there longer than needed which is amazing with an impatient toddler. I highly recommend this facility and Dr. Letlow."
"Don't waste your time going here. They will take your insurance for the exam and diagnosis but the joint clinic to actually get the hearing aid devices does not take any insurance it is out of pocket only. We were not made aware of this by our insurance referral or the clinic until after the fact. How is a senior citizen supposed to afford $4k to $8k for hearing aids? We couldn't get the records either so have to start over somewhere else with another exam to actually use the insurance to help cover the hearing aids. A complete waste of time and money going here."
"Very sweet but the reason I give low ratings is due to the important fact that I left uncomfortable with my daughter test results. My daughter doesn't speak and she's 2 and has obvious hearing loss. She does not respond to sound at all and told me that her hearing results were fine which doesn't make any sense to my husband and I. Another thing is from walking in to walking out was a total of 30 minutes. That's way too fast to determine if a young child can hear when they can't even speak to tell you if they can. Anyway very nice staff but left unsatisfied."
