The River at Tampa Bay Church

"I just got back home from healing school with my toddler as a single mom I struggle with a lot of things from my childhood. The pastor and his wife are so amazing and my eyes were opened. My life has changed in a tremendous way. I can go on and on over all the blessings that has been poured over my life. Looking back I thank the lord for guiding me to this amazing church. I remember in 2019 the church sent out a group of young adults to testify next to a grocery store and give free food. I thought it was nonsense to have to wait for preaching to be over to get food. I was ready to go but no I stayed and waited with patients. That night I left with more than just a bag of groceries. Thank you lord! I received a call from them to pray for me after this outdoor service and again I thought it was crazy he said repeat this prayer after me. This goes to show how disobedient we are with what God is doing in our lives. We try to find something to put the church of the lord down when all he wants is our heart. But wow this church keeps fighting the battle has been won. When you think you are alone and battling alone in this world at the end of your road. This church family appears and life is never the same. The services are longer than normal church but it isn’t a big deal to me. A lot of people complain about this but don’t complain about how much time we spend being slaves to everything in the world. I like how the river church go above and beyond for everyone no matter the situation you find yourself they always say to stay positive and always talk positive over your life using scripture. The ID issues the worker said if a person doesn’t have they will find a way to help them get it and it’s no big deal to me. I’ve had a church ask for a full background check just to volunteer at the kids area. Come get filled with the love and peace of God. This church is on fire for the lord and I’m in for it. You will leave a soldier ready for what God calls you to do."

"My wife and I visited this church last year for the first time, and our life has never been the same! God spoke to us that night about leaving NY and enrolling in River University. If you want to be filled with the Word, Spirit, and Fire this is the place to be. You will be filled and taught how to win Souls for the Kingdom of God. Pastor Rodney & Adonica and the staff here will push you to go after everything that God has for you. We have grown so much since being here and we have seen one miracle after another. God has done a mighty work in us so that He can do it through us and touch many lives. We are so thankful and grateful the Lord brought us to this ministry. The fruit that comes from this ministry is supernatural! Every part of this ministry is anointed from Healing School, to River University, to kids church, to worship, etc!"

"Refused insurance for not showing a drivers license they try to force everyone into a tent and only except government issued identification just to walk into the church building and then want to verify your phone number and email address. This is all for marketing. I would personally advise staying away from that a church has no business requesting government issued drivers licenses also, who knows if the information is secure and who is they sharing it with or what they’re doing with it"

"The River at Tampa Bay Church is the finest church in all the nation! Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne is a general in our faith and a great example of what strong, Christian leadership looks like. If you are hungry for the The Lord Jesus Christ and a touch of God, this is the place for you! The Holy Spirit of God moves here regularly. The services are not church as usual, but how church should be. Me and my husband even packed our belongings to move across the country to attend River University as Dr. Rodney was so generous to award us scholarships for the entirety of the three year program. Our experience here at The River has been abundantly worth more than every mile it took for us to get here. "I would not recommend this "church." The pastor was straight rude tonight to his audience, he said, and you can go watch this evenings service back."What's wrong with everyone? You should see your faces! Did they get bussed in from a mental institution!" He wasn't happy because his audience wasn't being loud and enthusiastic. After he insulted everyone, some people jumped up to appease him, and he wasn't happy with that either. lol The lady spent an awkward amount of time encouraging everyone to give money after telling a story about her getting paid $175 as a kid and we all get way more money now so we can give more. We were really hoping to hear the sermon of birth of Jesus Christ tonight. I hope his cult will hoot and holler for him at his next service or be prepared to be insulted! You have to hand over your driver's license for info to be entered in, give your phone number, and then you are given a wristband to enter into this "church.""
