At Behavior Quest, we specialize in providing center-based therapy of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to children of all ages. Our staff is trained in Verbal Behavior Therapy, which focuses on teaching communication using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and the theories of behaviorist B.F. Skinner. This therapy is designed to motivate children and adolescents to learn language by connecting their words with their purposes.
ABA is an evidence-based approach to understanding behavior and its relation to one's environment. It has been used to teach new skills, improve performance in already acquired skills, and decrease unwanted and challenging behaviors in individuals on the Autism spectrum.
Our Founder and Executive Director of Clinical Services, Kathy Mueller, has a background in special education and applied behavior analysis.
