"I went to Santa Rosa Medical Center in 2020, once to the ER and later for a mammogram. Both visits were authorized through the VA. Now, 3 years later, I was turned into collections because these idiots never billed the VA, nor did they let me know that there was an issue with my insurance. Instead, they just turned me into collections. After many frustrating hours on the phone, the issue was FINALLY resolved. However, I decided to call to make sure that I wasn’t on the hook for anything else, and lo and behold, a mammogram I had in 2022 was never billed and was in the queue to be sent to collections. Again, they never sent a bill to the VA. Terrible service. If you don’t want to have your credit ruined and have to deal with an incredible amount of frustration, DO NOT use West Florida Radiology. They are completely incompetent."
"The VA sent me to this group for a radiology procedure. They verified me when the appointment was made and upon arrival at the hospital. 3 months later I get a bill saying they couldn't verify who I am and now want me to pay the bill. I have called both the local Florida Office and the billing department in AZ . . . they don't answer the phone. AFter several minutes of recordings on hold, they come back and ask you to leave a message. 07/04/21 Follow-up to this review from a year ago. Still having issues with bills from Twin Cities Hospital being sent to West Florida Radiology (WFR) and then bills being sent to me instead of the VA. Hopefully between the Hospital and WFR, they are able to get this issue cleared up. The VA and the Hospital have been contacted regarding the issue as well."
"Was in the hospital in January, received a bill in May that had already been paid by my insurance. They are illegally balance billing as they are in network and have are contracted with my insurance company. I'm not sure who does their billing but I would be careful and look through any bills you received through them."
