"I have been on Xanax for 6 years a low dose. I moved here and made appointment to get my refill when I called nothing was mentioned about it’s a requirement to be there 30 min before my appointment time. I received a text that my appointment was at 9:30. I showed up and already had my paperwork ready at 9:15. I was rudely informed by her staff that they put me down as a no show and that I would need to reschedule and the next appointment was 2 months away. I tried to explain that my paperwork is ready I’m about to run out of prescription was told sorry. Then they call inform me after I left a message that I’d need to come sign a release form so I did. Week passed ….. nothing I called to check on status never heard back. Called twice. Decided that I’d drive up there their office was closed on vacation. I only have 3 days left at this point of my medication. The nice lady in the office next door said you can make appointment here until they are back so I did got my refill. Today I get a call from Holly King office telling me they never got my medical records was why they haven’t refilled my prescription and (with attitude) “that even if I keep my appointment she does not plan on filling it she will wean me off and switch me to something else.” I only take .25 a day lowest dose there is. I guess at least they told me over the phone I would’ve really been aggravated to pay $30 to find that out. If something is working why change it? I’ve tried other things and side effects were bad . ( I called to make sure they received the medical records a week after signing form left a message nobody called me back about that either and that was weeks ago I made that call) Their lack of communication, rudeness of the staff, I would recommend anybody but this Doctor. I’ve never had to deal with such rudeness. There is such a stigma associated I suppose with Xanax, but not everybody abuses their medications. It’s a shame that you can’t get what you need and you have to jump through loop holes . A simple phone call saying we haven’t received your medical records sooner I could’ve called my old doctor and seen what the hold up was. Bad practices, but hopefully with a different doctor I’ll get the care I need and be greeted by friendly, caring, staff when I get there. Update I decided to call my old Doctor and they said they sent over my medical records April 7 so I called back spoke with different doctor other than Holly Kings staff asked if they shared same information in the data base yes. Awesome, does it show you received my medical records? Yes weeks ago. So, why lie what’s up with that?"
