"Like most new schools there were growing pains the first year but we are extremely glad that we moved our student to this charter school. He had an amazing first year and made a lot of friends. He was actually excited to start the 6th grade. It was the right choice for us and we could not be more pleased with the progress and growth we've seen in not only our child but also the community with the school. Most people on these reviews complain about communication but that was not my experience at all. The only communication gaps were with administration and given everything going on I'm not surprised but the teachers were always extremely open and had great communication."
"We love RCSA Intracoastal. The teachers are great at keeping us informed and a part of the learning team so we always knew what was expected of our kids and how we could help them. The principal (Ms.Jackson) was very quick to get back to me about issues I had (less than 24 hours) and resolved them quickly and fairly. RCSA awakened a love for school and learning in one of my kids that previously hated it and gave the other new ways to love it. We are so glad to be a part of the RCSA Intracoastal family!"
"We made a mistake to put our daughter to this school. Teachers instead of teaching spam parents all day long with dojo points. It takes at least a day to get response from Teachers. Drop off and pick up is missing a system. It's hard to believe they have more campuses around Jax and they actually find enough kids to fill their schools. We are not happy with the school. schools.So far we are not impressed."
"We love RCSA! The Principal and Teachers are caring, knowledgeable and professional. Everyone we've encountered so far has been amazing. Our child love the school; love the creativity of the assignments, the challenge and the care received. They think outside the box and keep the kids engaged and learning."
"Very unprofessional staff, teachers not responding to messages or concerns. Poor communication between them (from principal to teachers and between). Lack of knowledge, Bad time management, teachers being late for conferences, and the list can go on and on. To be clear, the only reason I don't write my name is to protect my kid at school. The last thing I would like to see is that they treat a child differently because of a lack of professionalism, but I don't doubt that it may happen at one point."
