From booking, e-learning, to the in person courses, horizon made the process easy and comfortable. Dan was great talking me through the booking process. Hugh is a great instructor! He was thorough, calm, and very patient with my nerves as a new diver. We left feeling confident in our new skills and had an amazing time exploring the ocean. We will definitely visit again the next time we're in the keys!"

"I have had the pleasure of completing AN/DP, and CCR with Jeff Knapp. The shop is well stocked, and organized. They can do Nitrox Blends, as well as Trimix. The boats are well oiled machines. The Captains are all friendly and knowledgeable. The Mates give a thorough briefing. Here is the biggest thing I can say. They are all exceptionally caring. They care about you, your safety, and when you come here for training, it is precise. I felt like it was a constant direction. You start and develop a skill and build and build and build. You slip and you build and it continues. I didnt get cards during my training; I got safer. I became more precise and I will continue to do so because of my training here at Horizon. "Going into this dive I was nervous. I am not a fan of deep dives, or current, but really really wanted to dive the Spiegel Grove. My dive buddy and I opted to pay the additional cost to have a guide with us and I’m extremely glad we did. Christina was absolutely fantastic!!! She took it nice and easy going down the line and made me feel comfortable the entire dive. Not once did I question mine or my buddies safety. She explained things, checked on me multiple times and was just overall amazing. She was hands down the best dive guide I’ve ever had in FL. Absolutely recommend this operation and her as a guide. Our boat captain Gavin was also great as well! However I can’t sing Christina’s praises enough. Thank you!!"

"We chose Horizon Divers because of their high ratings and because they were able to offer a PADI Junior Open Water certification for our son (not all dive shops do). I can honestly say I can’t think of a way our experience could have been better! Our tutor Christina was incredibly positive and encouraging, as well as being deeply knowledgeable about diving. Our session started with a video specifically about diving with kids so we felt in safe hands from the outset. The pool day was long and tough! But nothing was rushed, which meant we felt 100% ready for the ocean dives on day 2 and 3. Again, everything on the boat was so professional, with multiple staff safety-checking everything. I think we’ll be life-long customers of Horizon after this, and will certainly return to them for more dives when we’re in the Keys next."

"I had a wonderful set of dives with Horizon Divers! (Two reef dives) The crew was very organized and had a good division of labor and care for their clients. The reefs were amazing, and the aquatic life was also amazing. The equipment I rented was very appropriate and performed well. I would dive with them again and recommend them to others. The booking location and the docks are at two different locations. I had to pay for a guide but was able to buddy up with someone at the docks. That worked out very well. While asking around a bit before reserving a date, two different sources recommended Horizon, so that added confidence."
