"Bruh i hate this school. You guys talk about miami schools and how u guys are more advanced but your not. What happened to when kids in miami would get shot or something. Nobody gave 2 cents. But now a school in the suburbs got shot up and now you guys wanna talk about the "gun safety control". Please. The reason why students stood out to speak there heads off is because they almost lost they goddang life. Schools in miami are more advanced than these crappy schools. i know that because im from one. And i wanna go back to one. You "Broward County" schools really think your better than miami schools. Just by score. WHO CARES. You guys judge these schools by there appearance by calling us "Rachet" or "Ghetto" by the way we talk but we smarter than ur students tbh. I actually care about my grades. Your students dont care about there grades. People in my class dont care. My mom drives 1 hour everyday from opa-locka miami to here. She sacrificed so much for us to come to these "So Great schools" U guys are crappy. #DADECOUNTYBUILT"

"there are many reasons why this school is unacceptable. First of all, let’s start with the teachers. One of my teachers called the whole class a droplet of water in the whole world because our lives right now don’t really matter. Another teacher disrespected a student because of their hearing aid. He said because she couldn’t hear him clearly “do you want me to fix your hearing thingy for you?”. You think I’m done not yet! The teachers are bias,rude,sarcastic 24/7. Don’t call me noise but I overheard a 7th grade reading teacher say “my class is “shizzle”(but used in a different way) Also, let’s talk about the school lunch! Fun right? The food is uncooked because I ate a “chicken” nugget the other day and the inside was black and pink? Sounds weird right. Second of all, they keep the left overs and freeze them to serve them again, I mean I know this school doesn’t like to waste stuff but c’mon? They keep half drank water bottles and refill them to use again. Let’s talk about the school grading system now. When you get a “A” on a assignment they bring your grade up 2% but when you get a bad grade your grade goes down like 10%"

"Silver trail middle.... You guys plan to fire Mr.Martinez. From what I’ve read and experienced he is a great teacher and a awesome person. He isn’t enclosed and has 2 different moods for school and his life, he’s a very honest person. Firing him would be a mistake as all the students really like him.Dress code: You let us wear jeans, cool. But we can’t wear a pull over jacket, really? I don’t understand why, but it’s fine... the zip up jackets logo can’t be bigger than your fist, why?? All of these things stated raise red flags in my head. It’s my 8th grade year, and so far from 6th grade I still feel the same about this place."

"Dear Silver trail middle school, i am honestly shocked. The fact that you could even consider firing one of the best teachers you have to offer, is depressing and dissapointing. I can truthfully say that Mr.Martinez is the best teacher i have had in my entire life. Not only is he fun , but he is so relatable. I feel like i can talk to him about anything and feel safe. He has taught me more than any textbook ever will. If you fire him you will leave every single student who takes peer counseling unhappy. I know for a fact i am not the only one who feels this way. Everyone is absolutely outraged that we might lose mr.martinez for the the most outrageous reason. This is completely unacceptable and just downright , wrong. I say this on the behalf of my peers and i hope that this will affect your decision. - just another peer counselor"

"This school and teachers are excellent! My son is going onto his third year at Silver Trail Middle School and I am very pleased. You could tell right away how the bad reviews are written with anger and with out explanation. Also noticed bad language on those people. I don't pay attention to those type of people bad reviews because I can tell they have internal issues. Support your children and your teachers, get involve as a parent and they will succeed. I am not a teacher or anyone in my family. I just realize the hard work of this profession and I believe it is unfair how they do not receive the appreciation they deserved. Thank you!"
