"Post surgery, I was quite hungry. My husband was smart enough to get me to the nearest place where I could eat. I had the Scruby's Philly with Brisket. It was very tasty, and all of the sides were delicious! My husband had the baby back ribs with beans. The Brisket tasted a little overcooked/dry to me. Next time, I will order without cheese, so it doesn't need to be reheated. The best part of my meal was the Tropicana Punch. It was very refreshing! There is a salad bar for those who wish to enjoy a lighter fare. The bathrooms were clean, and the wait staff was friendly. The atmosphere was ok the closer you were to the bar with different lighting. It looks as if it used to be a Denny's or buffet place judging by the seating arrangement. I will visit again when I can offer another review and try other foods. Until then, keep up the good work!"
"Very disappointed.... I ordered take -out of the rack and a half of baby back ribs dinner @ 32.99. 1st... they charged 34.99... an upcharge for something? The receipt doesn't say... As part of the dinner I asked for a sweet potato and potato wedges. I received.... A mini sweet potato 11 potato wedges (most were 1 bite sized) And... 11 ribs... there's typically 11-13 ribs in a full rack.. I think they forgot 1/3 of my meal... The best part of the dinner was the order of corn nuggets I purchased. @ 9.99. If I had opened it in the restaurant I would have walked out... Sorry.... lost my business. Don't know if it's the same owner, but I'm going to Rob's BBQ (brother of the original owner)...."
"We have been here probably 10+ times and will be back. You can't go wrong if you're looking for some great home cooked BBQ and friendly faces! I mean, we've had better BBQ and the prices here are a little high but we have never had a bad experience."
"The food was super delicious especially the beer ribs!!! Everything came out super fast and made to perfection and the service was impeccable!! Will definitely be back when I'm in the area again."
