"Addition & Preface: On the constructive side of giving a review, it gives the establishment the opportunity to consider changes that may enhance the consumer’s dining experience and to ensure repeat patronage as we (consumers) have many dining options & we, personally, are willing to pay more than average for quality products & services.* We are unwilling to patronize an establishment that doesn’t value our opinion, isn’t open to constructive review & who IS NOT adequately cleaning the front of the house - this information was omitted from prior review, however, it now comes into play… Relieved to see those dirty, plastic, faux patchwork tablecloths changed! (And now let’s sanitize the floor…). Also, no customer should go unrecognized (be ignored) for more than 5 minutes in any restaurant lobby. That’s called a “service standard” for a reason. (Implementing “timely service standards” increases overall customer satisfaction.) Now… *To wit: if customers say their wait for “to-go” is too long on high-volume nights, that gives management the opportunity to adequately hire/staff for “high times.” Additionally, if food isn’t prepared correctly & a customer has an issue with said preparation, it gives management valuable feedback & allows them to make needed changes and/or improvements in order to keep & increase their customer base. Lastly, before the prior review is read I want to impart that the economy isn’t great, restaurant prices have increased & if I spend over $100. for mostly pasta & veggies for 4, that food NEEDS to be quality or I will not return. (Apologies if the truth is difficult to hear but that’s the only way positive changes are made.) Bottom line here, is that my meal was TERRIBLE, not just bad. That opinion, it’s not a personal slight to anyone, just a factual experience. Had the business reply been gracious, I probably would’ve tried their offerings again upon their request, that said… Original Review: Perhaps the chef dropped the salt shaker in the red sauce & that’s why my lasagna was inedible? (Not even worth a picture…) Seriously, the remaining gnocchi (same sauce) & lasagna were thrown away. I took maybe four bites of my entree & the salt LITERALLY burned my mouth. VERY DISAPPOINTED in the food quality value for this holiday take-out family dinner at $117. (The Grilled Vegetable Napoleone was the best thing we ordered as it tasted fresh & wasn’t overly salty.) Lemon cake was “pedestrian” at best & the strawberry “glaze” (whatever it was on the side) was cloyingly sweet with a very artificial taste to it; very off putting. After not being acknowledged in restaurant after about 20 minutes from “pick-up time” (slow & unfriendly service…) I’d say Broccolini’s is a hard pass going forward. Additionally, had my meal been that bad in restaurant I would’ve sent it back (and I haven’t done that anywhere in 20 years). Sadly, will not return."

"We visited for a private lunch party and filled the dining room. I thought the food was delicious, the staff were great, and atmosphere was memorable. It was also an affordable event, even with all of the wine. It’s not easy to serve a 40 top in a place this size, even family style! The magician was great too."

"Visited for dinner with the family. I had been there a few years ago and wa ted to try it again. This is a very small restaurant and they have been around for a while, they get very busy on friday and Saturday nights, you can call ahead to make a reservation, which I didn't know, so we had to wait 30 minutes. Once we were seated and placed our drink orders, the waitress informed us that our food would take 40 minutes. Since we had already waited for so long we decided to stay. When the food finally arrived, it was very tasty, we had the penne bolognese, beef ravioli and Risotto, but the Risotto was under cooked, for having waited 40 minutes that was very disappointing. The staff was nice and attentive. I would recommend an early dinner or visiting during the week."
