Phat Boy Sushi, Kitchen & Bar - Delray

"Went here on a last minute decision for Ash Wednesday/Valentine’s Day. Glad we did bc it was amazing! We didn’t have reservations but the wait was only about 15min, and our 3yo was entertained by the wall of waving Lucky Cats. We ordered the Rainbow Ceviche sushi as an appetizer, Chilean Sea Bass on bokchoy fried rice, and 2 rolls: crunchy tuna roll and Himachi Cilantro Roll. We were also pleasantly surprised that they had a kids menu, which we ordered the buttered noodles for our son. We had the tempura cheesecake for dessert which was amazing! Everything was so delicious and worth the wait—the sushi bar was a little backed up which was expected from a busy holiday night. Our waiter was awesome and I wish I had remembered to get his name to give him credit but he was very attentive. Overall, a great experience. Bill was about $130 for the 3 of us with dessert and an appetizer."

"Had an amazing night here. First time at this location but we were treated very well. Only about a 15 minute wait even on Valentine’s Day. All the dishes were great. Our waiter was great!!! Over all will be returning to say the least."

"Pleasantly surprised! My son wanted sushi for his bday so we decided to come here and it was fantastic. Food was excellent, the service was great and the atmosphere was nice. We ordered the crab rangoon dip & dumplings for appetizers and for dinner 2 fried rice combos, steak & shrimp & chicken hibachi plate and 3 sushi rolls. It was so fresh, fluffy and delicious!! Our server was working the whole place but she was very attentive to us and the atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon was laid back/chill. Spent about $150 which isn’t bad (for my family) and will definitely return for a date night with my husband."

"Why doesn’t this place have a higher rating!?! Tried them for both delivery and dine-in with both being delicious. Dine-in was better because of the atmosphere and portions. My Wife loved the coconut ramen with chicken Crunchy tuna was delicious Daughter finished the entire chicken hibachi Red dragon, miss Liz, and muscle roll are great too Yellowtail jalapeño is amazing The ambiance is great for Delray, similar vibe to Atlantic but with families. Somehow this is multipurpose as I imagine a date going well here."

"Oh my … where to begin.. What a great experience I had here! The drinks were amazing, the salmon sushi trio and tuna tartare wontons was probably the best I’ve had, and our bartender Zel was amazing too. She was so pleasant and so on top of everything and I’d love to request her every time I visit Phat Boy! The bartender Zel made feel like I was the only person in the restaurant because she was so attentive! The whole vibe at Phat Boy was amazing!"
