McLaughlin Middle/High School

"I seen all the reviews and they are really bad but now the new principal added more time for transition and lunch and removed Homeroom which was pretty good, but the school food is horrible and so dry, the only thing that's actually good is the chicken sandwiches they taste the same as the ones at my old school"

"This school is awful it punishes the students for the things that they didn’t do making they have silent lunch and not be able to socialize with there friends/classmates and then they also are so strict on the dress code no crocs slides or tights and then they get on some students for what there wearing but let the others slide McLaughlin is not not school to enroll your kids into your kids will be better enough anywhere other then this school it’s basically like jail and then they took away the phone privileges at lunch the only place where we were allowed to use them there taking ever Away from us and that’s unfair we can’t control what the other students at the school do why should we get punished for there actions the students have proven before that no matter what the staff does is going to change the way that we act because the students continue to get worse nothing can make McLaughlin better."

"They don't have control over the students. My daughter got her phone stolen, and I reported it, but they did nothing at all. I reported a teacher three times for not doing his work correctly ( teaching and explaining material) they use the excuse that he is new, but he still doesn't do his job correctly. He gave my daughter and her classmates a test, and no one knew what it was. Most of them, including my daughter, failed because they didn't know the material correctly. Some of my daughter's teachers just use their phones and don't explain anything. When they put substitutes, they only give a paper, and the substitute would be using their phone while most of the class is rowdy, throwing stuff, or using their phones."

"this school won’t let us do anything. no slides, no ripped jeans, no tights, no shorts. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANNA HAVE A FUN SCHOOL YEAR"

"As a new student at this school I can't say much but what I can say is that there is little to no diaplin in this school! My Lil cuz in the 7th grade that is also new was grabbed by the neck and himped tossed on to the ground and nothing was done bcuz the girl mistaked her for someone else. I get there is not much that could have been done but there was no apology. I do not recommend this school unless u want this treatment. For this I give 2 stars."
