"I honestly don't know where to begin, I've spent the four years of my highschool going to this place and graduated, and I've made most of my friends and many fond memories here, but that doesn't deter from the fact that this place has been slowly crumbling apart over the years with more and more students and faculty leaving. Sure there have been some quality improvements here and there, but overall the community is a footprint of what it used to be. By the end of my senior year this place just felt barren and depressing, with not many people left to socialize with, and there was barely anything to do on campus as a boarding student."

"I am currently enrolled in the Vanguard School and I can honestly say that my last three years here have been amazing. This school has done things for me that other high schools could not. I have made friends that will last a lifetime. My classes are very small (my biggest class is ten kids). My teachers will stay after school to help me if I need them to. The dorms are safe and has security. We go on trips most nights and every weekend. We have a pool on campus and I took lifeguarding classes--I just have to take my test! Staff is amazing, and they will go above and beyond to help me.I am graduating with good grades in just a few weeks. Thanks, Vanguard!"

"When I broke my foot I didn’t get help I needed. First off I broke my foot riding on the cement with my skateboard and hit a crack and fell and broke my foot. Then they took me to a walk in clinic whitch looks unknown and then they said it was sprained. I asked the nurse for a wheelchair and she said no my foot was in a lot of pain and they gave me crunches whitch I couldn’t use crunches and it kept making me sweat so my mother picked me up and I waited a couple of days and my mom took my to a well known walk in clinic and they said I broke it in three places and this happened on the close day to my birthday so I was in a cast for all of December and had to ride a motorized scooter and keep in mind when I broke my foot it was suposly sprained they wouldn’t help me get food I had to ask my friend to I couldn’t walk to get food with cruches. Thank god my mom picked me up. If I wasn’t picked up I would of been in A lot of pain when I broke my foot and it was sprained after it was broken if my mom didn’t pick me up I would of probably needed surgery according to my doctor and my mom luckily I didn’t need surgery and I just needed a cast. Thank you for reading my rivew."
