"i don't go here anymore, but honestly, this was really...something. The electives are fun, the teachers are nice as far as I know. I made many friends here, and despite hearing about it, have never directly experienced it myself. Some people that I know have been bullied, but, well, it has not happened to me. The bathrooms here were dirty, and there was vandalism everywhere. There are also swear words everywhere, and honestly, the food isn't quite the best either. The cafeteria is dirty, and the dress code are very strict. You aren't allowed to wear sweatshirts (besides from the schools). Things are somewhat out of control, and there are many delinquents. But, to conclude, it isn't all that bad."

"This school sucks. While some teachers are enjoyable most of them are rude and tell their students that they aren't going to succeed or make it to college. The staff does nothing to stop this and they don't even care. There are kids here who live unhappy lives and are even suicidal and when someone tells the school all they do is have them talk with a staff and what does that do... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. If you have a complaint they will do nothing with it. The school is disgusting and features a wealthy amount of insects. The bathrooms are terrible and the don't even try to fix it. And the new principle is just making everything worse. If you take your child to Lakeland Highlands Middle School beware."

"This school suck! It's infested with roaches. I really hate this school. You get disciplined for defending yourself. They should shut this school down. Do not send your child here. The school breakfast and lunches are HORRIBLE. Too many fights. Too many rumors. Certain so called friends is fake at this school. And when someone messes with you one of my teachers told me to go have it out with the other student. At this school we are the slaves and the teachers are masters. This school is dirty. They make the 7th graders sit at the blacktop and sweat in the morning before school. I really regret coming to this school. Dress code is ridiculous. You have to wear one colored shirt for the whole year. You only can wear a zip up jacket and a button up jacket. No sweat shirts. The teachers write referrals just for wearing the wrong jacket. It's ridiculous"

"As someone who has attended this school, I can confirm this is the most absolutely horrific school you can send your child to. The students, have little to no manners and often take part in fights, as it is a normal occurence in this school. The rules were outrageous, specifically the dress code rules. These rules often restricted any sort of individuality shown in clothing. On 'Dress Down Days' one pays a fee to dress how they like. I have seen many girls get a penalty for wearing 'tight' pants on these dress down days. I beleive this restricts girls from wearing what they want, and also feeds into the narrative that we must restrict women's bodies for men who may or may not be 'distracted'. Aside from this, the administration at this school, is generally very rude. I hope you can take this into consideration before sending your child to this school. I can only say one good thing about this school, and that is in praise of the teachers. Educators at this school are overall polite and reasonable."

"I went here 3 years ago and currently a junior in high school. My experience was not that great, even with the principal in the past the school was not exactly that good. Major cockroach problem, a lot of the teachers have either anger issues or don't care. (Excluding few teachers I had, they know they we're good teachers). We adopted a dress code when I was in 7th grade and it was a mess. You would have to buy a "special" shirt from the school and if you didn't wear it a certain day you would have a "dress code violation". We have had many bomb threats, many fights, and the average grade for the school has decreased ever since I started there and left. There are few good teachers there and to be honest I did not learn much, I only learned good information from my American history teacher, my medical teacher, all of my science teachers, and my critical thinking teacher. I honestly feel bad for the determined and happy teachers that deal with the schools reputation. Don't send your child here unless you want them to have a miserable experience."
