Knight Transportation

"It was November 24, 2023 that I got hired with knight transportation till January 5, 2024 first off I want to say that it was a bad experience of racism and false advertisement of that company telling me that they will pay me $.50-$.60 per mile and for long run I got only $.35 per mile and for a short run, I got only $.38 per mile then the Fleet Manager that I head there because I’m a three-year professional truck driver. He yelled at me and screamed at me over the phone when customers heard the way he was talking to me or interacting with me and told me that with a Fleet Manager like that they don’t want to do business without company and he was yelling at me and screaming me because I didn’t know how to work their computer system tablet that was in the truck so I called the Terminal manager and told him what’s going on so they switched Fleet Manager on me and Fleet Manager , he got fired from doing shady stuff and things in the company and the reason why I can say it was racism it’s because they said that because I am Jewish I don’t need a lot of money because you Jewish people have a lot of money already. That’s what you guys are known for. If anyone knows what can I do, please let me know. Thank you. And still waiting to be paid five trips that Knight Transportation owes me but because I’m Jewish I have too much money I don’t need to be paid in full !!! Tal Horowitz. Lakeland Florida"

"Love working here! Only complaints is the Lakeland terminal needs more space for us to drop our trailers. There’s a few Swift, Abilene & SOLD trailers taking up our spaces now. Didn’t use to be like this years back. Also we have 2 fuel lanes but only 1 works. Tight parking lot, especially at night & the lack of lighting doesn’t make it better. Hopefully Knight will find a solution."

"Nice terminal, but small. I don’t have any complaints only thing is why mega companies got plenty of money yet put trucking terminals in areas that are not good for trucks to be going in and out of, then when you tear something up it’s a problem. Nice terminal, but definitely should not be in this area period. Love visiting Florida anytime I can. Hopefully will be back. Hot showers lot is a little tight so just take your time backing especially at night. Decent lounge also and laundry."
