With over three decades of experience, Pace's early intervention model has been successful in reducing unemployment and involvement in the juvenile justice system. A 2019 research study showed that girls attending Pace were nearly twice as likely to graduate from high school compared to those with similar risk factors who did not attend Pace.
The institution's center-based day program offers comprehensive education, counseling, and life skills training for middle and high school girls. Pace Reach, a therapeutic and counseling program, provides services for girls experiencing mental health challenges and thoughts of self-harm. The institution also partners with organizations like the Delores Barr Weaver Policy Center to study and address the challenges faced by adolescent girls.
Pace Center For Girls - Hillsborough aims to empower girls to become leaders in their communities and currently operates in 23 communities throughout Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
