"As an outside observer, I really enjoyed my time sitting in on the classes at this school. The class sizes are small and the teachers I was able to observe were all great at working with students from all different backgrounds. The environment is warm, friendly, and comfortable. All of the students and staff worked well together to help bolster English learner language skills. The activities are varied and touch on all of the English language skills including speaking, listening, grammar, writing, reading, and vocabulary. Individual work, group work, and whole class discussion are used in each class to keep the students engaged, and personal experiences were very much valued for forming deeper understandings of the content. If you have the time, money, and desire to improve your English language skills as a non-native speaker, I recommend giving Tampa Language Center a shot."
