"These reviews are all out of wack. Try getting better food at any chain breakfast restaurant. You can’t! Get the grits and be quiet ;)"

"Quaint and friendly place for breakfast and lunch. The corned beef hash has no onions, but the home fries do. The seasoned grits are delicious with an egg on top. Service was polite and ready on the refills. My 91-year-old father really enjoyed it. They keep it cool in there, so have a light jacket if you're thinned skinned."

"It would receive a higher overall rating but unfortunately the owner ruins that! I and my partner have been here twice and won’t EVER reconsider it. The servers are nice and the food is decent. However when the owner is there, he ruins it. VERY inappropriately loud and rude, especially to his staff!!! Our last visit was a few days ago for breakfast. As soon as the owner arrived, we left! He has a very disrespectful attitude and behavior toward staff and has no etiquette. I feel sorry for the staff that has to deal with it. When the cook is yelling and telling the owner to keep quiet because they’re losing business based on the owners behavior, that says it all."

"I ordered an omelette, it was amazing! The grits are phenomenal, home fries too! My friend had the Country Fried Steak & the sausage gravy was awesome! They give you large portions of delicious, flavorful food in a very clean, cozy, laid back, mom & pop style atmosphere with excellent customer service and at super reasonable prices!"

"I’ve been going to this little café since 1995. It was quite defined always crowded the food always good. I’m not saying I haven’t had better but it wasn’t bad food. Today my husband and I stopped in to Chelsea‘s café and ordered eggs, potatoes and toast. The eggs were ordered over medium on both orders they were really running definitely all over easy. The toast again I got served warm bread soaked in melted margarine YUK!!! I will never be back here. They were two tables of customers. We sit down at 11:15 and we were through it at 12:05. That’s ridiculous. These are new owners, Joe Joe’s, and open 1 July. Take my buy, save your money drive to a different place to eat. It is possible to mess up eggs, potatoes, and toast who knew?"
