"Chris taught saxophone and guitar to my son for over ten years. Through Chris my son was able to master the instruments as well as music theory. Chris hosted multiple musical showcases for his students as well as helping my son line up live paying gigs. Chris also helped my son produce and record his original music at a professional level. Chris has been a teacher, mentor as well as role model who helped instill a work ethic and love of music that will stick with my son for a lifetime."

Chris has assembled some of the best music mentors available. So if you have ever thought, that could be me on stage. Sgammato Music is a great place to get started on living your dream."

"This is THE place for the aspiring musician to learn and these are THE teachers you need to guide you or your loved one on their best musical proficiency journey. You won’t find a better or more experienced group of people to teach and guide their students, whether simply honing their craft or preparing for a career in music."

"My daughter has been taking lessons here for almost a year, and I couldn’t be happier with our decision to join Sgammato Music. Her primary teacher, Kelsey, has been wonderful since day one. She moves at a pace that my daughter is comfortable in, while also throwing in challenges that stretch her abilities at the right times. Chris, who owns the school and tirelessly organizes all of the performances (while maintaining his own schedule of students), has also been wonderful. Always seeming to know when and how to insert a confidence boost. As wonderful as the teachers are, they might not even be the best part. My favorite aspect of how this school is set up is that the older kids (teenagers) end up playing some songs with the younger kids in the performances. After hours spent at rehearsals and at the performances themselves I haven’t seen one eye roll, side eye or snarky comment about having to play with younger kids. Quite the opposite, they meet everyone as collaborators. I don’t know if this school attracts or creates wonderful teenagers (probably a bit of both). If it’s true that you are the average of the company you keep, this is where you want your kid spending time. ❤️"

"I cannot say enough great things about Sgammato music school. My daughter is 7 soon to be 8, and she’s been playing guitar for around 7 months now and absolutely loves it. Chris who runs it and her teacher Kelsey are amazing. She is excited to play everyday and already knows a few songs! It is not traditional in the BEST ways. Not only is she so excited to practice, but I have already seen her confidence and self esteem grow through learning / playing music which, as a parent, is the most amazing thing. Chris‘s ability to encourage and facilitate young musicians of all different ages, levels, and styles to come together and play on stage in a band (at some pretty cool venues too) is truly incredible. We feel so lucky to be a part of this music family… which is really the best way to describe it… “Sgammato music family”."
