"We we're new here.First thing its very clicky with the office and teachers. I didn't feel comfortable talking to them about my issues with a teacher. Also, I had addressed in the very beginning with my daughter's teacher my concerns. And to please keep me updated on my daughter's progress. That never happened. I had to keep reminding her and asking her how my daughter was.And sometimes didn't even get a response.I also felt they're not up to date on communication. I feel you should be able to text, not still go through the office or email to get to the teacher. Then I find out, the problem has been the teacher was having family issues. I think she should have taken a leave of absence. If she wasn't able to fulfill her teaching duties! So we are not coming back to say the least!"

"Our first 2 yrs were awesome with Mrs. Pagan and Mr. Robinson as the principal and assistant principal. All of my 5 children attended this school from 2014-2017 and what a change came in the 2016-2017. My 2nd grader in particular struggled all year and I thought by telling her teacher when school began that she had some struggles, but that was ignored. I am prompted to write this review as my daughter was evaluated and data was collected for her to have an Individual Education Plan. Numerous attempts of seeing If a meeting was set failed by me being told various set dates to being told that her data will have to be passed to the next teacher in the 2017-2018 school year. A major upset in the way my child was left behind because this specialist Sharon Grey did not have time as she said to attend to an already struggling student. It's a shame that public schools are ran like a business instead of an educational environment. No wonder why all the good teachers left when the last principal's were reassigned, I should have taken that seriously. Yet they push your child to be to school on time and so on and so forth but fail to hold the employees to their on requirements of there positions. We are moving and I am glad that my children do not have to attend this school any longer. BEWARE...."

"Great school... Moved my son from Spirit Elementary Because he had a hard time keeping up & always felt like he was a grade behind.. For some reason the school wouldn't hold him back. We tried for 2 years but being that he was in E.S.O.L. classes they told me they had to advance him even though he was failing most classes.. Once we'd had enough we moved him to Forest lake & they held him back in 3rd grade & it was the best thing for him. Now he is a straight "A" student and is able to keep up with the rest of the kids. All around a happier kid now that he feels up-to-par with the rest of his classmates.. & also no e.s.o.l. anymore... Yay!!!"
