"Very popular restaurant with diners in this location. Service is efficient and attentive. Food is very good and worth the price. Reservations are recommended if you dine after 5:30 p.m."

"Is this some kind of sick joke serving people raw chicken? Now I have no food when everything is closed on Christmas Eve. $25 for this. Unbelievable."

"It's been over 10 years since I last ate here and wasn't certain it hold up to what I remember. I brought my wife for the first time and needless to say she was blown away. The food was fresh and flavorful as ever. The best part of the evening was Sandy, our amazing server. We were never at a need for anything and she anticipated our every move! We give this place the old Michelin 5 star!!"

"I loved my visit to Hunan Gardens Chinese Restaurant located in the BocaRay Plaza. My friend suggested an early bird dinner and I am always excited to see what she likes. Hunan Gardens is a family owned restaurant that has been in business for over 30 years. The classic Chinese restaurant decor is very elegant and the restaurant is impeccably clean. When I saw that the customers were skewing elderly I knew I was in for a treat because they always know the best places to eat. The early bird menu has a page full of meals that included an appetizer, soup, rice, main dish, and ice cream for dessert. You can also order off the main menu. We started with the delicious fried noodles that were brought to the table. This is something I frequently throw away with my take out Chinese food but here the large fried noodles are something to be savored with the mustard and duck dipping sauces. The pipping hot wonton soup that was served was swimming with two flavorful pork filled dumplings. For my main dish I had the delicious Happy Bird ($19.99), a dish made with crisp vegetables, beef, chicken, shrimp, and scallops. I paid the upcharge for the fried rice and was pleased with the amount of pork in it. Our meal also included a pot of tea which I enjoyed with my meal. Dinner ended on a sweet note with a dish of pistachio ice cream but if you are so inclined Lily's Handmade Ice Cream is in the same plaza. I was the envy of the teachers lounge when I whipped out my leftovers for lunch the next day. This restaurant easily stands with the best of the Chinese restaurants of south Florida."
